Go around

隔了2个星期左右,我终于等到我的ATPL了。前天,我就乘着有2天的假期去了KL一趟,这次的目的很简单,就是去DCA领取我的ATPL而已。由于马来年快到了,最近吉隆坡和古晋之间直飞的班机几乎每趟都爆满。当天早上,地勤人员也告诉我班机全满了,我原本以为已经去不成,不过刚好最后一分钟有一个乘客没来,而我就这么幸运地上机了。短暂的一个半小时,我就到达LCCT了,朋友接了我之后就直接启程去DCA。领取过程中还算顺利,虽然他们态度还是不太好,不过我也不管这么多了,能领到我的执照还是最重要。

接着,闲着没事做,就想见见多年不见的朋友,便开始一个一个约了出来。我们聚集之后,就到KL的金三角逛逛,我已经好久没有在傍晚时分,在如此繁忙的街上 行走了。虽然人潮很多,来来往往,不过我却很享受,乐在其中。我时常都在想,在这繁忙的城市里,到底有多少个人能够停下脚步,喘口气呢。每个人的步伐是如 此地快,我走在人群里面,就更显得缓慢了。 接着我们吃过晚餐后,就去电影院看戏,我已经很久没有跟一大班的朋友一起去看戏了。可是说真的,时隔2年后,能够再次见到大家,一起出来聚聚、聊聊天,真 的让我感到很开心。虽然多年不见,不过我们还是无所不谈,在谈话的过程中也回忆起很多以前在MFA所发生的事情。真的好怀念啊~

今天,是我第一天领着ATPL去上班,这么巧地去民都鲁的班机上有一位同学;接着我又从民都鲁接送我的屋友回来。原本看似一切会很顺利,可是却在最后一个Sector要降落在古晋时发生了一些小插曲。当时我们即将降落了,可是跑道上还有飞机,由于还未离开跑道,我们只好go around。你能不能想象,ATC竟然叫我们在400 feet做一个360度orbit,简直是荒谬。这是Airbus 320,不是小飞机好不好。同时,有2架印尼的直升机不听指示地在机场上空乱飞,我们重飞后还差点跟直升机相撞。我们呼叫控制塔,可是当时场面已经完全失控、乱成一团,听他们的声音好像都快哭了这样。不过感谢主,后来我们尝试第二次降落,就非常顺利了。

暂时就这么多吧,期待10月份的升级考试,加油!

    1. The ATC obviously isn't up to the standard, but we can't blame them. It was the helicopter who created all these mess.

Good to suggest that the Airport Authority to introduce 30 minutes before the commercial flight's scheduled landing and taking off, all other aircrafts to be banned from using the airport runway. That is priority ONE given to the commercial flight doing the landing and take-off. Safety is the utmost important in respect of this affair. Ban the undisciplined pilots from using the runway,no matter who they are!

    1. I agree with you, but it's impossible in Malaysia. I've had an experience before whereby the GA aircraft was given the priority to land, and we had to hold at the holding point before we were cleared to line up. There's no priority given to the scheduled departure or arrival at all. Another thing which those helicopters did was that, they were flying above the airforce base, else where they would have been shot down immediately. They should have thank God for flying in Malaysian airspace, not in US.

  4. 很夸张。400ft就算是要小飞机做orbit也是rare case。
    ATC这样安排很很危险咧。应该clear runway才给你们continue approach的。

    1. ATC犯了2个错,
      一、他们没有通知我们机场上空有直升机在乱飞,而且完全控制不到。如果他们有通知的话,我们会更alert,知道了这样的情况,我们会考虑先在其他地方holding。等到airspace clear了之后,我们才continue approach。
      二、我们前面有一架twin otter,你可以想象它的速度是多少。在IMC情况下,我们什么也看不到,ATC却完全没有通知我们前面有飞机,还一路clear我们"high speed descend,number 1"。一直到400 feet左右,我们才看到跑道,而当时twin otter才刚降落没多久,来不及脱离跑道。
      *TCAS上也没显示有traffic。

    2. 这两个错误很严重,
      但其实都可以避免的。
      是不是新手controller?
      应该告知有关的authority,
      尤其是那个乱飞的chopper。

  5. 好危险啊!还好都安全~为什么那个控制塔跟我们的Flight Ops一样的?=.= 有什么emergency都不会控制和解决 唉~

      Flight Ops的话我没话说,一直以来都不喜欢跟他们有接触,能免则免吧!
